This was a sad day for us. This was the morning we were evacuating for Katrina. This was taken as we were pulling out of the driveway to go to the airport. Melissa told me to wait and she pulled the camera out and snapped this picture not knowing if we would see the house like this again. Pretty scary.Also, I was quite proud of my handywork in boarding up the house and anchoring everything down. My most clever, I think, was how I used a U lock and locked our trampoline to our little playground set so it would't be picked up like a giant frisbee and thrown at our house.
