We finally made it back to New Orleans the beginning of October to see what kind of damage our house had suffered. I went back with two of my brothers, Scott and A.J., to fix anything we could and pack up some belongings in the car and drive them home.We were some of the very fortunate ones after Katrina, our house only suffered minor damages from wind and some rain. This was the extent of the damage to the roof, but with the rain some water did leak through into our bedroom.
