On the Thompson side Anna gets to celebrate her birthday with her cousin, Isabella. This year we all got together and had dinner and cupcakes. It was the first time Anna realized that the presents were all for her. I was a little shocked because she loves to open a gift and play with it and then open the next one. But not this birthday, she was going from one thing to the next.
I hope that doesn't mean that we are in for some trouble. When we got back to Louisiana and I was unpacking it was like it was her birthday party all over again. Sharleen gave Anna some princess dresses so she could play dress up, and now it takes a lot of convincing for me to get Anna to wear anything else!
