We had such a great summer! The girls were in heaven to be able to see cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents at any moment they wanted. One of the things that the girls really wanted to do this year with my dad was go to a baseball game. Ellie has always loved going to baseball games since she was a little kid and will sit there for all 9 innings. I think that one reason why she is so interested is because she knows how much my dad loves baseball.
Before we went to the game Ellie said, "Now it's just me and grandpa going, right?" And I said, "No, all of your cousins are going." She informed me that she wanted it to just to be her and Grandpa. My dad told her that he would pick a special day for just the two of them to go. Needless to say she spent much of her time right next to my dad. 
Anna was just excited to be there because she knows that at baseball games you have to get some treats.
This year we went on the 24th of July and the kids loved it because there was a big fireworks show at the end of the game.
The other highlight of the summer was Lagoon. Every other year my parents take the family to Lagoon. It is so funny how much all of the kids just love it.
